I discovered I have a number of Jack rabbit clutch discs but don't know if it is a full set. I have eight of them. Is this the right number for a 27 transmission, coupled of course with the right number of outer discs?

Nine are in a full deck!

Jack and turbo for what I can remember, are set up with the small disc and 8 is the right number, 10 to 11 big Ford discs, the watts used the fibre big discs and small Ford discs.

8 pr 9 will do. The important thing to remember is that the finished stack needs to be the same thickness as the standard Ford clutch pack. This may mean adding an extra Ford disc or two to make up the difference.
