If I'm not mistaken, actually the headquarters moved from California, to Dallas, TX, when the Kleforths lived there. From Dallas, it moved to Richmond, IN., when they moved there. I am open to be corrected, if I'm wrong.

I was curious so I looked back at the Vintage Ford. The move was many years ago. Bruce McCalley was the original Editor and Business Manager. Bruce lived in Burbank. The club address was in Burbank. In Fall of 1991 Bruce was turning over the editorship to Jay Klehfoth. Tony Bowker became Business Manager, Moving the address to Ramona, California. Jay lived in Dallas. In 1992 the business office was moved to Dallas. Barabara Klehfoth was new Business Manager.
In May of 2000, Jay and Barbara moved to Centerville, In. Thus changing the address to Centerville. Looks as though the business address was moved to Richmond, in 2016, to be in the same place as the museum.

OK, A lot of good info there. Who started the museum? And how was Richmond IN chosen for the location ?

This is now the 2nd location in Richmond, yes? Jay and Barbara got the local govt to support the expansion by moving downtown, right?
Wasn't it originally in an old era roadside stand type there in Indiana place say up until thereabout the 'teens'? I seem to have a picture of my Hack body on a trailer coming back from OK with a pit stop in front of the roadside place. That would have been Chickasa, 2010?
Probably easier move the magazine and registration to the place published? I don't know but over at MTFCI they were Chicago for decades and decades and then when Howard Gustavson finally said, "I'm coming up on my 200th birthday, maybe someone else???" The job went to a guy in NC...and I think all of the MTFCI stuff has followed as far as registrations go?

If I recall correctly, Jay and Barbara spearheaded the museum. They had gotten some good sponsorships there, and the national club (including most of us in California!) have supported it being there. Of course, most of us do wish it were closer.
