Correct me if I am wrong but I don’t believe they were ever supplied on Model Ts out of the factory.
I have seen them on quite a few different brass cars, often luxury marques. At least on some Pierce Arrow’s I have seen them with plano convex lenses. The lense is flat on one side and convex on the outer side to help throw the light. Often the lense is made up of multiple piece of glass ~2” wide vertical pieces.

I found the light housing at a local flea Mkt yesterday. Cracked mirror and glass. No shaped lense glass as you mention. Mounting bracket was missing. Asking price $80. I'm tempted to run and grab it this a.m.

That one is actually a head light. I can tell by the mounting bracket . All rushmores said search light on the chimney whether headlight or an actual search light. The search light model mount was made to swivel up and down and also had handle on the back. $80 Is a pretty good buy for one in that nice condition.
