I understand there was once a memo published that said "begin offering wheels to customers in color. Use the following colors, vermilion, casino red, straw and emerald green. Stripe to match."
I believe it was issued to dealers sometime in January 1926.
My question is whether anyone else has seen it and if so where I can get a copy, short of spending a week at the Benson Ford library. Thanks in advance for any help with this.
Eric

I would have to go back and look but I think they were talking about body striping, not wheels.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Look in Bruce's big Black book on page 570. It lists the wheel colors and striping colors.

Even body striping would help.
Reading on, it appears the reference in the McCalley book is exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks guys.
