I use 5W/30 or 10W/30. Whatever is cheapest that day.

Re: oil for model t
Any oil you can get today is WAY better than any oil available in Model T times.

Go to the nearest Dollar store, Walmart or Autozone any buy their house brand oil. 5w or 10w30 is fine. No need to buy any super duper exotic or big name brand oil for a Model T.
It’s better oil than Henry ever envisioned for a Model T.

There are two important things with oil.
Keep it full. Change it often.
Oil is cheap. An engine rebuild is not.

Re: oil for model t
Some Model T Fords have a tendency to creep immediately after starting. For obvious reasons, this can be especially disconcerting when hand-cranking. My Flivver stopped that habit when I switched to 5W30 oil. It's just a little more slippery when cold then 10
W30 and that seems to reduce or eliminate the starting-creep.
