I am looking for information on this transmission of how it operates. I believe it is missing some of the internal linkage . I would also appreciate if anyone knows how to properly drive a T with with one of these installed? Any and all information would be appreciated, thanks in advanced, Craig.jpeg[/attachment]

If that's a Himico, I have the internal parts for one, with a broken housing.

Looks like a cronk simplex. Spelling? The 3 clutch fingers take external springs under those cones. Mine is missing all that external brake drum/band stuff. Ill go look @ it today.

Thanks Ed I that’s good to know that’s available. I am still unsure who made this part(s). There’s some lettering in the casting near the magneto post location and so far this is the only information I have .

Your could be right John these springs and the peddle were with the unit when I pick it up from a friends collection. Would you have any information about where and when they were made or possible an owner/ operator manual that’s available?

The springs on mine look beefier than the 3 loose you have shown.
I found some old sales ads for these replacement T transmissions in old vintage ford issues.
Not a himmico.

While the guys here a very helpful, I think you are going to need to branch out a lot more than just posting here if you have not. Any instruction type information is going to be far in between if any still is floating around out there.
I think John nailed it; http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/59 ... 1480201813
The link to NWVS is still good.

The Ted Ashman layout(vintage ford) on aux transmissions was all I found for reference. If you find something new, I would be interested. As it is, I have enough pix to make the missing brake stuff & reassemble. The rest is unobtanium. Good luck.
