Birthday Ride

Post by mbowen » Sat Oct 23, 2021 10:34 pm

I took my 7-year old neighbor and his sister for a ride for his birthday today.

I also took a flying buddy and his nephew for a ride. I think I enjoyed both of these rides it at least as much as they did!

Nice pictures. Everything is still cloaked in summer's green, but the sky looks like Autumn is bearing down.

Yes, autumn showed up just last week, kind of late for this part of the world. High was around 50 yesterday, so we all had our jackets on. 37 this morning; I may only have to mow the grass once more….

We're going for mid-90s here today, then storms and a cool down for the middle of next week. Weather here is like a box of chocolates...

I just spent a week in Penn Yan, New York with some long-time flying friends from all over the country, and a cattle rancher from Bridgeport, Texas said there were several days that it was warmer in Penn Yan than Bridgeport.

That's unusual, but I don't doubt it.
