In 1970, when I bought my 1926 coupe. It came with a Ford Script 6V goose horn. During the restoration, I replaced the goose horn with a 6V Klaxon because I liked the sound better. Tonight, I will be listing the goose horn on eBay and would like some information on it. I know it came on the 1926 because this horn came off of mine. Which Model T years used the electric 6V goose horn? Was the Klaxon ever installed on the Model T at the factory as an option to the goose horn? Thank you. Jim Patrick

Re: Need info about goose horns.
It DID have a '26 - '27 bracket - now there's only half left ! The electric horn came out in '19 - the same bracket was used from '19 through '25 then the 2 hole water inlet mount bracket was used because of the placement of the "Improved" car coilbox mounted up top.

Re: Need info about goose horns.
The starter, generator, and 6 volt battery electrical system came out on the 1919 Model T Fords, but they continued to use a magneto horn. The battery horn did not appear until the 1922 models.

"Was the Klaxon ever installed on the Model T at the factory as an option to the goose horn?" No, never was a factory option.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
