I found this photo to be very interesting. It was taken following a tornado in March 1913. The photo is of a clothing drive for those who lost their homes. This appears to me to be one of the 187 Coupes made in the 1910 model year. I blew up the image to show details. The radiator has a short neck but it also has the radiator support bar. I thought the bar and tall neck were added at the same time in mid-1910. Apparently, I was wrong. What do you see here? Oh, and those tires are SHOT!

Is it unusual that the horn is on the right side?

The triple A tag caught my eye. Guessing the smaller tag is the local club that`s a member. Just learnt that on my googler!
Hood has something going on. Seems a bit odd. Radiator looks polished to high heaven but the folks didn't put a knee to the hood to straighten it?

I think there's been plenty of "work" done to this car. The headlights have been converted to electric and I believe the radiator is a replacement. Shouldn't it have a "winged" script? Can anyone get a really good look at the license plate to see if there's a year of registration on it? also, look at the front hubs. I believe they're 6" hubs, not 5 1/2" as would be found on a 1910. Could it be possible that this is actually a really early 1911? Anyway, just a few thoughts.

The ill fitting hood just doesn’t look right. Could this be a staged photo? In other words the T just didn’t roll up, park by accident.
The hood doesn’t have any louvers on the side either.
Were the early T hoods without louvers in some years?

It may be a private car donated or comandeered for the relief operation. The tire may have encountered storm debris in the road. I wouldn't think an "official car" would display a AAA badge. The hood may have storm damage.

Hood louvers showed up in 1915.

The photo isn't staged. I've seen hundreds of photos from the Easter Sunday 1913 tornado that destroyed much of my old neighborhood. There are other photos of clothing drives after the storm.

This is from Ford Time June 1910. It shows a Coupe with the horn on the right.

Thanks for posting, great details on the close-up views, esp. if you expand and zoom in. High finned rad. cap, electric wires running from the cowl to those gas lamps, with their red gas hoses hanging free. And the pin striping inside the fellow on the front wheel, striping on the leaf springs, on the front crossmember, and just inside the billed fender molding edge.

Like that little worn rubber hand crank handle, still can see the molding rings for best grip!

I think the mis-fitting of the aluminum hood may have been more prevalent back in the day. When doubled over as in the upper right photo and then any significant weight put on it the distortion could easily occur. We are more careful with our cars now than some were in the early days.

Looking at the last picture posted by Mark the center hood rod is not in the rod support notch and is holding the hood above the radiator.
