I’m sending a set of 21 inch wheels to get rebuilt by Stutzman’s. Do I need to send hub bolts with them?

I have. If you do, they will install them.

Make sure you clean the hubs. You send dirty hubs, you get back dirty hubs. And the spokes will be A+ ++

Purchase the more expensive hub bolts. Most of the dealers carry two lines of hub bolts. Purchase the grade 5 or better...more expensive but SAFE.
Include them when you deliver the wheels to Mr. Stutzman and he will install them, but not peen them over so you can disassemble for finish if desired.

If you want the best job possible, deal with Calimers.

I have always heard that Stutzman's was the best place to go. What makes Calimer's a better option? Is it materials, craftmanship price, turnaround time?
Thanks
Ron

I have used Calimers and they made a fine set of wheels for me. I have also used Stutzman. They are both fine wheelrights. For fit, finish & price, my future choice will be Stutzman however.

My hub bolts were not reusable. Stutzman installed a new set for $12. He does not peen or loctite them, something you might want to address when you get them back. If you want to paint the rims or hubs, do it before you send them out.
I have only dealt with Stutzman but have been very happy with the wheels he's done for me.

Are you saying that Stutzman will not sandblast and paint your rims and hubs?

Not a body shop.
