I thought I was done with my disk brake project on my 26 Touring but have a lingering question.

The hose from the remote reservoir is a bit long and I let the hose droop a little below the level of the master cylinder in the routing. Seems to make no difference and the system bled ok. Do you think this will create a problem?

I don't believe that would be a problem if you were able to get the system fully bled. Ideally, every line in a system would be placed so that bubbles would rise to the highest point in the system. I doubt that's ever been accomplished.

You will be fine as long as the air is out.

Gravity being the weakest but most persistant force in the universe it shoud not be a issue unless it kinks over time. Check it once in awhile, you never know when the extra hose will come in handy.
