Good morning. As many of you may know, I listed my original 1926 Model T Fordor sedan on eBay several weeks ago (item #115089579487). Before doing so, I consulted the members of the forum on how much I should ask and followed your advice. When I listed it, I started out at $10,500.00 and lowered the price every couple of weeks. I woke up this morning to a bid of $9,000.00. If there are no more bids, that is what it will sell for, if the bidder is serious and pays. If there are more bids, the price will increase depending how high the bidding goes. The auction ends Wed. night, November 17. I don’t know yet where the bidder is from or how far he has to drive to come to Florida to get it. Just wanted to keep you posted in case anyone was wondering how the auction was going in order to use the price to determine the value of a T you may be considering selling. Thank you for your help and advice in giving me an idea on how much I should ask. Jim Patrick

That's a nice, well equipped car. The color may not be "original", but it looks great on the car, and it improves visibility.

You have a nice looking 26 and I bet it’s a good one. I haven’t looked at the listing and you mentioned you had a bid. You probably already know this but I would make sure the buyer knows he has a time frame to pay and pick up the car. In that way he won’t leave you ‘hanging’ when he’s coming to pick it up. Good luck with a good transaction. It’s sounds simple I know but these days you can’t tell for sure.

I haven't signed into ebay in a few years now. However, I do look at the pre-1930 cars for sale several times a week. Every time I do lately, I make a point of checking to see if you have gotten a bid. Pleased to see this! Good luck, and I hope all goes well.

I thought I check to see what I could fine out about the bidder. eBay does provide some info but gives the bidder an anonymous id for that particular auction & shows what else they are doing or have done. So based on the info below this bidder is relatively new, hardly any activity. Has only bid on two items so far 3 bids on a VW item and 1 on your T. So be a bit cautious and stick with your payment specification CASH! If you don't know the person do not allow a bank transfer of funds. Also arrange the purchase at your bank, you can deposit the cash and they can notarize whatever. Best of luck
