When is a Ford carb not a Ford carb, and how can you make it into one?

When you want a "speedy carb" for your car, you might look for Zenith made for a "T" in the flea market:
But instead, you find this...and what is it? It LOOKs sort of familiar, but still, it isn't quite right...nothing lines up where it should; the throttle arm is on the wrong side...and where the heck is the idle adjustment?
It's actually a Zenith S4BF for an Overland...though it sort of looks the same as the one for our beloved "T"s, the main casting is made from a completely different pattern and the idle adjustment is on the back side (not the front) and the choke cabling is in an inconvenient location as well...
By making a new throttle shaft and reversing the location of the throttle arm and then repositioning the choke apparatus, it can be converted to an S4BF which will bolt onto a Zenith manifold and work just fine on a Model T...With all new guts including throttle and choke shafts, new main jet, fuel tube and a new venturi and wear points rebushed, it's now ready for disassembly and final prettying up...
Here's the back side, showing the idle adjustment
