I didn’t realize there was already an existing thread on the happenings at the model T Haven auction here, I removed thread I started.

Ed,
I would disagree that the auction was a disorganized mess.
I was only able to stay for the first couple of hours but was surprised on how quick and efficient the auctioneers were. As for the large lots that I saw, they were opening bidding on all lots with choice so if there was anything of value in that lot, anyone could pull that out and all of us could bid accordingly. They let this go on until everyone was done with choice. What was left over (parts no one wanted) probably went for scrap.
In my opinion, a lot of what went to the scrappers should have gone to the scrappers. Mark had ALL of this for sale for years but no one wanted it. There was literally tons of rusted out, bent up, broken and unidentifiable parts and pieces. While it saddens me to see any old car parts go to scrappers, much of what I saw would never have been able to be used in a restoration.
Wish I could have stayed longer or gone back today.
