Andy Loso

Post by Michael Peternell » Mon Nov 22, 2021 8:04 am

I just got the horrible news that Andy passed away yesterday from complications of Covid.
Andy was a great friend who would do anything for you. I know he touched the lives of a lot of model T people.
I guess God needed someone to rebuild his T. Rest in peace Andy knowing you were well loved!

How sad, and what a loss for us all. I'm a relative newbie to the hobby and Andy was one of the people who took the time, in his own lively, humorous way to help answer any questions I had and introduce me to the fact that this hobby is not just about the cars; it's about the great human connections we make. Our thoughts are certainly with Lisa and the children at this most difficult time.

Working to get ready for a holiday visit, I sat down to take a break. Opened the forum and saw Andy's name. Said to myself "I do hope someone is looking for contact information?"
Sadly , no.
I never met him myself. However have enjoyed some interactions on the forum. Mostly, I have noticed over many past years how so very often, other people would take the time to publicly thank Andy Loso for helping them! When I see dozens of different people thanking one individual? I know there are a hundred others he has helped as well. He must have been a wonderful person!
My deepest condolences to his family and many many good friends.

Sad to hear 1st thing this morning. I never met him face to face. We had many conversations over the phone. He was a great help when I got my 1st T. Talked me through the rear axle rebuild. Rebuilt all my coils. What a great guy that will be missed in the Model T world.
Condolences from our family to his.

Andy will be missed. It was quite a shock to hear that he passed.

He did a lot for this hobby, including being President of 2 local clubs.

Got this from a friend thru another just now.

"So I have to apologize my information about Andy wasn't correct or it was misinterpreted.
He is still alive but doesn't sound promising.
Let's pray for a miracle. Sorry for the confusion"

There may be hope.
Since I lost my mind mind, I feel more liberated

I also just received the same information. I apologize to everyone for this!!! It was in no way meant to be hurtful. He was such a good egg I just didn't want it to go unnoticed. Again I apologize.

So sorry to hear this, he was a great guy,
I talked to him about 3 weeks ago,
He just bought the gasket business and was looking forward to a long life of making T parts, our prayers go out to his family, Bob
I do not know if he got the shot or not,
We did, nothing to mess with
