Need info from anyone who knows how the oiler works on K.serial no 892.
Have had it running but are the oilers supposed to show a drip of oil.
Can make them drip manually.
Any help would be great

Howard,
The sight glasses only show a drip when holding the plunger down. The oil is "pumped" by an internal cam, and the rate controlled by the amount of turns the screws are turned in ( clockwise, more oil, cc less).
If your K has modern pistons with oil rings, the cylinder walls won't need much if any oil. I turn the front line up and the remaining seven lines are set very low.
Good luck, and enjoy your K. And photos of that good looking white K would be appreciated,
Rob

Howard,
Below is a link to the 1907 Model K operations manual. Below that, two pics of the portion dedicated to the oiler:

Bob
Your help was of great assistance as we have no manuals to refer to.
We have all but one of the letter cars(being theB) to get ready for a car show 4hours from here. Will take some pics and post them early next week

Thanks Howard. Quite a beautiful Model K. If anyone ever questions the colors, I hav found articles describing a K with red leather upholstery, and another of a K touring with white body color.
Please keep us posted as you get it on the road.
