I finally wrapped up my 1913 headlight hook up today. I have some photos, but need more. I'll take them tomorrow and post the pictures then. I can say one thing for sure. The kits that Ron Gocek made were 100% incorrect, except for some of the tubing which was one foot too short!

Here are the dimensions. Headlights 9", Frame to radiator 8", Carbide tank to frame line 28".

Ron Goceks kit didn't supply enough tubing for this job. A 13-14 takes 4 feet, with 3" left over maybe. I found 1/2" red rubber tubing from McMaster Carr. They delivered it in one day. Haven't had a chance to use it yet. I made the entire system from the Ford prints. I also have an original frame line, which is exactly like the Ford print. There is a hole in the frame just forward of the controller shaft for the support bracket.

Well that certainly clears up a lot of questions about the plumbing and its routing ~! Thanks much, Larry !

Thank you for posting the photos. The setup looks great and the tee and sleeve have that "thick wall" look to them.

The photo below is on the assembly line and the little brass hose clamps sure look small. They installed the gas headlight hoses in the radiators before they came down to the line. I used clamps but I don't think they are really necessary if the hose is snug.

On your rear gas hose to the generator, I ran it over the brake rod like you have it. It was sitting on the rod so I tied the hose off to the running board support with a plastic tie. The hose was from Langs and I was afraid the rod would rub a hole in it.

Since you are going to use carbide, I am anxious to see your report. I started out with tank gas and have never used my generator.

I can't help this! Notice, the horns are all mounted correctly!

Thank you sharing this, I`m close to istall my Gas line on my 1911.
