Looking through some old pics the other day and came across this 1926 fordor. My brother bought it while in college in Indiana. I think I remember it was in the Fort Wayne area. About 1970. He brought it back to northern Ohio, did about nothing with it, and sold it around 1980. Good solid car, may have been a gray brush paint job ( a fifty footer, looked nice) green wire wheels, still had a usable interior. It ran and drove. Seems like I remember it went to western Ohio area. Anyone recognize the old girl?

Since the picture is what it looked like 40 years ago may/may not be of use. The most notable distinguishing item is the extra tail light on the rear fender. Since it was not original and owner may have removed it. On the other hand it may have been left to comply with DOT law or as an owner's choice for safety. Tried to enhance the license plate number as a starting point of who it may have been sold to back then. Looks like 1M 1114. Would help too if you can describe the color of the body & wheels

Thanks for the “help” but my picture shows the color as I remember it. Gray with green wire wheels. Neither were original paint. I remember some punky wood at the upper left front of the roof. I think that was the Indiana plate that was on it when my dad brought it home. My poor dad lost his garage space for a loooong time about that time. I had the other side filled with hit miss engines and my TT project. The cradle I built in high school shop class.

Hope you find it but it will be a long shot after nearly 40+ years. Maybe check with a Model T club in the area where you think it was last located? Good luck. It could be Maroon by now!
