Model T mystery Puller Tool

Anyone know what this Puller Tool is for?
I think it's Model T, but not sure for pulling what?
It sort of looks like a Hub Puller, but the Model T ones I've seen just screw on.
It's got a number on it that starts with " T " which makes me think it's a Model T tool.
The number looks like "T266" or "T288", etc. I don't know, it's hard to make out.
The opening slot width is a loose 2-1/16" wide.
Anybody got any ideas on what it's for?

It might be a puller for 26-27 hubs with wire wheels?

OK Norm, that's a possibility I hadn't thought of!
Can anyone confirm this is what it is?

Not like any Ford tools illustrated in any of the Ford literature I've seen.

Could be Model A hub puller.

A better design of an original with the upper web bridge but it appears to be a 1926/27 hub puller for wire wheel hubs.

I seem to remember that Model A & 26/27 Model T with wire spokes used the same rear hub puller?
Anyone know if this is correct?

The Ford puller for wire wheel hubs was a massively proportioned two-fingered affair and sported a "5-Z-1172" number
If this is a tool for a Model T, it is an aftermarket tool, and very lightly proportioned for the job.

It looks the same as a T70 Model A Ford rear hub puller sold on tbay

Side note; There were two different Model A hub pullers, to fit the flange or groove type hub. The distance between the sides of the puller where it slides on would be different between the two styles.

My Tool is a pretty hefty & solid tool.
It weighs a decent 7.1 Lbs !
