Removing headlight reflector

Post by John Illinois » Wed Jan 26, 2022 3:01 pm

How do you remove reflector on a 24 ? The parts list shows a wire spring. The reflector will push in and looks like slots could be turned line up with tabs in bucket.
Also this inexpensive strap wrench that I had worked good to remove rim.

he reflector slots need to align with the cutout on the bucket and you may need to rotate i. Chances are things are a bit sticky. You may need to compress the reflector to rotate it into position. Sometimes kneading the edge or the reflector helps loosen things. A gentle prying around the edge of the reflector as a last resort

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
