I am rebuilding the steering column for the '27.
The column is in primer.
Is there a bearing that need to be in the bottom of the column?

There is a bushing to replace at the lower frame bracket for that steering shaft.

Once you drive out the old one, drive in the new.

Then ream that new bushing to size.

Dan, what brand of adjustable reamer are you using there?

Jason

Just a no-name brand from the local tool supply.

Any good 3/4" adjustable reamer should work. The reamer shown

is this 23/32" to 25/32" or 3/4" size. It was marked on the shaft "INDIA"
