Steering gear casting inquiry

Post by Dropacent » Fri Jan 28, 2022 1:41 pm

I’m easily confused. I need a steering gear casting for a 1925 fordor or chassis. What casting numbers am I looking for? The confusion is checking the parts books. I believe those numbers are for castings with bushings installed, hence the confusing numbers, Thanks for any help. AND if you have one , I’m looking. Thanks!

Tim. If you mean The lower steering bracket. That one is unique to the 26-27 Fordor and Chassis only. Look for factory number on the bracket. T-933. Ford parts list # 3539E.

Opps. Missed that you mentioned 1925.

That one will have T-932B casting mark factory number. It fits all body styles pre-26.
