I am going to inspect a centerdoor for sale, it is titled as a 1922.
Is there anything in particular I need to know about centerdoors before I take a look?
How do they hold value compared to other T's?

Unless you enjoy woodwork be sure the wood is good and solid. The doors should open and close well and not sag. The more wood you can see the better you can assess it. Rebuilding a wood body can be fun and satisfying if you have the tools and patients but if not, Beware.

They’re probly more valuable to touring and roadsters if the center door is in excellent condition. Sit in the drivers seat. Emergency brake lever is between your knees. Lots of glass !! Replacing plate with safety is expensive.

Centerdoors were the heaviest of the Model T passenger cars. A strong engine is definitely needed, especially with a full compliment of passengers and a full gas tank!

I own a '19 and being a bit on the "height challenged" carousel (5'-4"), I can get in easy enough and drive quite comfortably BUT one does sit a bit wonky in the driver's seat as it's not centered on the steering wheel ! As stated previously, they're a heavy car and any little extra h.p. helps.

Had a good look, a nice machine but I’m 6’2” with plenty of leg and boy was it awkward to get into driving position. I’d hate to imagine pulling the hogshead on one, an open car sounds good to me.

I've done the hogshead removal in the '19 - not a task for the faint of heart !!! Next time, I'm pulling the engine out !

And I’ve done a hogsheads removal on my ‘19 centerdoor. Piece of cake - if you take a second to remove 3 clevis pins and the passenger seat.

Add a warford as a multiplier to the fun.

Then advise Tad that you simply pulled the passenger seat Steve. That’s what he was concerned about. Since you didn’t, I thought it was relevant because I’ve pulled the hogshead on my ‘18 touring sitting on a bench seat - and it was difficult !! Thought it was much easier on my knees in place of the centerdoors passenger seat !

In my opinion, you won't be disappointed with a Centerdoor as these
are not too common when compared to the other body styles.
