Mystery wheels

I just got 4 of these today I’m pretty nice shape. They are aftermarket wires, but I don’t know what they are. No hubs came with them but it’s a three pin drive. I might move these on as I have a complete set of Dayton’s (5 wheels and all the hubs). But I need to know what they are.

You and this guy https://mtfca.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26968 should talk. Looks like he has a pair, too.

Ah....With the drive pin dome covers, I believe they are "3-pin Hayes". I have several with the hubs and hubcaps, showing the Hayes I.D. / Tim

Good eye Tim, Ash wheels were bolt on type, and I’m not aware of any other 3 pin drive knock off type wheels other than Hayes

Pretty sure the Ash were all 21” lock ring too...

Well, now we know what they are, what are they worth? How hard is it to find hubs for them? As I said, I have a full set of Dayton’s but they are in good shape. Wondering if I should save them or move them.

I have a pair of 3 pin drive front hubs with caps that were damaged (not by me) getting them off at some time, 1 nice original cap with ford plate and a full set o 5 reproduction caps that I would let go reasonable

I can't find anything about "ASH" wheels, is ASH an abbreviation for a company?
Posted info about this on the other mystery wheel discussion "left hand Right hand.. " https://mtfca.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26968

Ash wire wheels were bolt on accessory for model T Fords, possibly other brands too but all the hubs I have come across are T specific. All seem to be fitted with 21” lock ring rims also.

The Ash hubs and wheel centers are pretty wimpy, and so I converted this set to Buffalo centers for my dads car. They are 2 plane lacing (similar to McLaren lacing pattern), but are plenty strong for a T. Sorry, don’t have any pics of the Ash wheels before the center swap...
