Every time I think you must be running out of pictures by now you come with a bunch of more good ones. What a picture book you must have! Rudy

Keep em coming, love those old pictures, especially the town scenes and the insides of the repair shops. If they could only talk!

Wonderful photos.
I suspect that that the photo with the man holding the TT truck wrench at the manifold clamp nut is a little later, perhaps a photo of an early restorer at work.
I do like the photos of the pre-T cars.

Great ones Tom!
That ‘26 runabout with top up, CA 1930 plate, neat accessory headlamp/fender brace. But oh…..been in a small wreck, the drivers front fender is broken away at the frame…..but worst is the busted wind wing glass….those sharp edges of plate glass! Yikes

Tom,
Thank you so much for putting up these photos. Every time I look at them I'm reminded of a time so very far gone by. I even think I'll see my father in one of them. Interesting to see how the cars lost their gleaming shine, and have dull finish. Is that dust or the paint fading?
There are so many stories that the photos could tell. If I were teaching a dramatic writing class, I would give students an assignment to write a story based on any one of them. What happened before the photo was taken, what is happening right this second, and what happened to the people after the camera was put away.
I loved the ones where people weren't posing/hamming for the camera. Two of my favorites it the one where the couple is digging their car out of the snow. The other is the man with several young girls around an Oil (?) drum at the front of the car. What's in that drum? What is he working on?
So fascinating. Thank you.
John

Third from bottom,
nice pin stripe on early 1913 Touring with bill style front fenders.
Thank you for the great photos!

In the second picture of Motel T railroad service cars, I like how they repurposed the T steering wheel to be used to set the wheel brakes when the car is sitting unused on a siding.

They're all wonderful, but the snow scene is remarkable when you consider the technology of cameras and the level of effort involved in that weather. I'll bet the others were all too happy when he put that damn thing down and started digging!

Great photos. Note that Ripon College has avenged that loss to Carroll College (Now Carroll University)

And Carroll U has some interesting research going on:

I wonder how the bicyclist fared in his close encounter with a model T?

Yes,…. All great pictures, thank you!
It always amazes me how they put so many people in such little cars.
This picture is interesting with what looks to be a wooden planked road.

Wonder if he used a Brownie Instamatic for that winter scene?

Looks like a homeless encampment at the far end of the road. Times have not changed very much!

In the 14th picture it looks like they ran over a bicycle!
