Question about 1912 Dash and Steering Column

So I've searched through a few forum articles about the 1912 Dash and Steering Column, but still wasn't able to find my answer. Here's what I got: I have a 1912 Steering column with the offset hole, and a repo two piece dash from Snyders. My steering bracket is the T932B. I wanted to install the column on the two piece dash, but noticed that the holes don't line up, from the articles that I have read there were several changes to the firewall during the 1912 year. One of which I read was that the angle of the column changed mounting it to the dash 3/4" lower? Was it just the placement of the holes or was the steering column itself changed, meaning the angle of the flange on the bottom of the column? Are there any of you using the 12 steering columns with the offset hole with the two piece dash?
Can I use the column I have on the two piece dash?
Thanks
Mike

My 12 is a one piece dash but what you will find is the repro dash is made from one pattern most likely 1910 or 11 and sold as fits 09 to 12 . Just a possibility .

The '11 to '16 firewall-to-frame bracket is supposed to be the same across that range of years. The offset column hole bolt shares shares the top hole in the firewall bracket. Therefore, I don't see how you can wind up with an incorrect combination since that is a constant unless the large thru hole in the firewall for the column itself doesn't jive.

John Regan can give you the answer you need. He made beautiful firewalls awhile back.

You may have read it already but there is a good thread on April 22, 2009 on the subject. I don’t know how to post a link but it’s worth finding.
