That car was probably used as a display to show the insides of the car. We have in our area a chassis (without body) The chassis has the engine cut in half like that to show how it works for display at schools or in a car archive museum.

I always love seeing that truck on the road.
While working on a painting with a reflection in a puddle I set this up with a model. It is a mirror image but from ground level.

90 posts so far. I have gone through this entire thread of photos of old Model T parts that make heavy use of Andy Warhol-like photo enhancements and have yet to see how it contributes to the Forum. I guess my not being a big fan of Andy Warhol may have something to do with my negative opinion. Sorry to those who like it. Just sayin’. Jim Patrick

The topic is Perspective
The subject is the Model T
The tool is Photography
The thread is for everyone
No one is forced to view
There are more participants than I
So where do we go from here?
To post or not to post?

Re: PerspecTive phoTo
I totally understand where you are coming from Jim. There are threads and comments on this forum that I have little or no interest in. I have more of a visual perspective than some and enjoy looking at things from different view points. To me some of the images on this thread are very striking and interesting. Others, not so much. Each of us enjoy the Model Ts in our own ways and some quite differently than others.
Many of my contributions aren't really needed here.
Just me.
Rich
We have covered some subjects to death and there is only so much to say about a Model T. Yet it's always is great to see something new and different. Klamity Dick and several of the Non-Ford discussions on the Off Topic site are not viewed and even unwelcomed by some but give perspective of the hobby to others. Stricter control on what is allowed on this forum might make it less appealing to the wide variety of folks that enjoy it. It is easy to read what is interesting to each of us and not dwell on what might not be our cup of T. I believe having a lot of different things to look at is better than not seeing anything new here. Many of my contributions aren't really needed here.
Just me.

Well said, Rich. Thank you !
As a repeat offender, I don't think of any posts on this forum as detracting from one's Model T experience. Discussion is healthy, and different "perspectives" are entertaining at the very least, and provide variety as we once more debate the efficacy of Marvel Mystery Oil, and puzzle over what titration of antifreeze to use. I appreciate how temperate and polite the posts here continue to be. It's a fine community we have here, regardless how one looks at things !

Re: PerspecTive phoTo
Thank you Rich and Rich. You both opened my eyes to a different perspective and I owe an apology to Bryant. Bryant is a great photographer and artist and obviously loves the Model T and for me to discourage his willingness to share his love, talent and viewpoint with us was wrong. Please disregard my post and continue posting your photos. Anything featuring a Model T or Model T part is appropriate and relevant to this Forum. Jim Patrick

Re: PerspecTive phoTo
Even criticisms and suggestions can help us shape what we post and how we present it. We often forget that we all have different tastes and view points. This forum has become far more polite and civilized than some times in the past.
I thank all of you for your kind and thoughtful contributions.
