Spark plug condition. Need opinions

I am changing the oil and flushing the engine with 2 qts. of motor flush. I removed the spark plugs in order to rapidly turn the engine over using the front crank, to mix the motor flush in with the oil before draining and adding the new 10w x 30w detergent oil. While I had the plugs out, I took pictures of the end of the plugs. They all have black carbon on them and a white area at the closest point nearest to the gap. What do you think of the condition of the plugs and what is the best way to clean the plugs of carbon? What is the little white areas and what caused it? The pictures are in order of the cylinders from 1 to 4. Thank you. Jim Patrick
