I am going to produce Model T boards this spring. It will be the last time I do this. I am wondering if there is any need to run the 1909 boards. So speak up——or forever hold your peace.

If he does not reproduce the 09 boards or you do not want to wait, I have a nice pair for sale.

Just a question, clarification? 1909 running boards were unique, and not stamped steel. They were if I recall correctly, wood, covered with linoleum, and trimmed with metal edging that is easily made. Late in 1909 calendar year, generally considered 1910 model year, the stamped steel running boards were introduced with the multiple long broken stamped lines.
I would guess that those are the running boards you are referring to?

Only the first run of the 1909 model year Ts were of wood. The rest of the 1909 model year had steel running boards with long ridges.

Hi Tom, any updates on the early fuel tanks, correct me if I’m wrong, I herd you were looking into making them.
Thanks Michael

Take into consideration the so called 1913-25 running boards. The only thing that is the same on them is the direction the Ford script goes. A lot of other things are different if you wish to have an authentic car.

Tom: Why not consider making the other style 1913 front fenders with the lip sticking out like a 1912, but even all the way around?
