I know some of you folks play with Fordson tractors, I have magneto conversion that also accepts a taco governor for my 1925
Fordson tractor. I have restored the governor but I don’t have the gear that goes on the end of the shaft. I was wondering if
Anybody Had a junker governor or even better a gear? Or any idea where a gear could be found short of having one machined.
Thanks Jim

There are also guys that don't mess with Tractors and have a bunch of parts that don't belong to a Model T. Pictures help. I'm not one of them but I do search the WEB. Is that where its at? Picture from eBay, I don't have one.

Yes that is it! It should be a 12 tooth gear where the teeth. Are cut at a fairly sharp angle.

Found some more info.
This says it rides on the camshaft. So what is the OD of the shaft the gear goes on?

Here are some quick instructions to add photos. If the photo is too big it will not load and you will need to use an App on your computer to reduce its size. Sometimes they appear sideways because of the aspect ratio so you also may need to rotate (play with it) to get it to display upright.

Normally the photos you add will appear so the last one added ill appear first. If you want to position them in text - move your cursor to where you want it to appear and then select Place inline next to the photo in the list

Pictures look great. Would help if you had a picture of the gear. I am no expert of gears (less than a beginner), only had to figure once and it took twice. Lots of specifications are involved. However, there are calculators for gears (I believe yours is a 12 tooth helical gear) and have the specifications of the flywheel someone might be able to reverse engineer it. Another solution to consider, I would think any 12 tooth gear that runs off the your Fordson model flywheel should work spec wise (ignoring size & shape) - it also could be used to measure for specs.
Here is a gear, the ID is 7/8", even if it were 1" bore, it may not work because of the other specs. The one that is confuse is that there are 3 diameters to consider.
