A fellow on the AACA forum is hoping to find out what became of Charlie Shaver's Russel Knight automobile. He had traded several emails with Charlie before Charlie was sadly killed, as they both had Russel Knight project cars. If someone knows anything that might help?

It would be nice if we can keep this here in the General Discussion for awhile where it can be seen? Charlie was a good friend of us all. And he was passionate about his non-Ford horseless era cars as well as a major contributor to the model T world.

Thanks Wayne for posting this. My brother Peter is the one looking for the Russell parts. Last week we were out for a drive in our antique cars, 14 T roadster, 10 Russell and others when the Russell engine started to make a very bad noise. He shut it down immediately and fetched the trailer. When he took it apart later he discovered a sleeve had broken. The parts Charlie had are the parts that Peter could now use to get this wonderful car back on the road. If anyone knows what happened to Charles eclectic collection of automobilia and parts we would sure like to know.

Charley's wife likely still has it. I don't know how to contact her but I will see Mark at Chickasha and he probably will know if she still has it.
