I guess those guys cut out the warbles or as they are usually called ‘wolves’ that are usually under the skin. Some will eat the rabbits after they cut them out and some won’t touch a rabbit if they are found to have them on them.
They probably won’t hurt you but and usually don’t but the thought of them being on the rabbits turns some off. They are also found on squirrels sometimes too.
Some city folks might not know this.
