I tried to install the same window channel in my 27 Tudor some 10 years ago. The kit did not fit my window. The channel was just too narrow for my glass to fit. Also, my car had the window channel on the top the same as the sides. The kit came with rubber to glue in place for the top. I checked with all the normal T vendors and they all use the same kit. The channels will have a "J" hook at the top to secure and a rivet at the bottom.
I did a google search and found a company - StanPro - that has channel listed by dimension and found the exact size. I ordered enough for the sides as well as the top. I had to remove the "J" Hooks from the old and Revit to the channels and drill. I returned the "kit" to Snyders and gave them the info for the correct channel. Do not know if they took my findings. The StanPro number at the time was 75000038 for a 72" strip. They also have it in 96 and 36" strips. I ordered it from Auto Parts Warehouse.
To install you have to remove the door Pannel and a piece at the top of the door to slide the glass out the top. From there you can see how youor door channel is secured. Hope this helps. John

John, I found your earlier thread from several years ago that noted the StanPro company. I searched with Google and I only found a European company with a similar name, and they did not sell anything like this. It would seem that the StanPro company that you got your window channel from is no longer in business. Darn. I am looking for channel that is closer to the original as well for my '27 Tudor. I hope someone can come up with a source for a more correct part.

Thanks for the links, Scott. That looks like the right stuff. Don't know why my Google search didn't turn it up.

A-45983-PU WINDOW CHANNEL KIT
The A means Model A
I too used this kit to improve a 1927 Tudor.
I had a problem with it too tight on one side and found that the window glass was 2 different thicknesses and just lived with it until we sold the car.

I thought the left one also kept the steering pitman arm from overcentering or reversing.
