Harry "HAL" Leo Hosterman started developing overhead cam conversion heads in 1921 and by the late 1920s to early 1930s he started developing the DOHC heads. He cast his own block, and aluminum oil pan, and made the connecting rods and 5-main bearing crankshaft.

That is very cool. The organ pipes makes it look menacing. Thanks for sharing.

Can see the edge of a model A/B timing cover thru the steering wheel... but did the HAL block accept the A/B timing cover...?

I never heard of one of those, so I googled it. That's awesome! Learned something new.

I would not put 'MV Invader'' in the water without a couple of slings and a crane to hold it, she just might have developed a few cracks from drying out being stored on that spiffy trailer
VERY COOL boat, would make a great tender for the old fishing boat i live on, thanks for sharing !
(would not mind to have that radial outboard either

)

That's a Fordson two compartment fuel tank on top. You fellows can have the boat. I'd like the Hayes wire wheels on the trailer. I have two which were on the boat trailer my Dad had. I'd been playing around with T models for a few years before I realised what they were.

I like Leo's BOAT!! Looks like a great place to live. Do you take her out for a spin any? Where do you keep your two cars?

That’s why there are only 12 Cross Radials left, the story goes the government seized and destroyed all others! Rum Runners was an understatement!

Looks like the street use head on a ford block. From Speedy Bill’s collection.

As well as Model T's I also have Morris Cowley Bullnose cars. Recently I have been offered a Morris Marine Engine. This is a car engine with modifications from factory for use in boats. Now if I can find a suitable hull you may have inspired a new project for me:
I can give the project a "T" link as well with this marine gearbox that someone may recognise

The wooden trailer and wire wheels are almost as great as the boat. 'Invader' that is just awesome.

Tim, yes i have a winter spot ( from october 1st to april1st) in the harbour at Spakenburg, an old fishing village, that is where the photo was taken. The rest of the year i am a "water gipsy" and move from place to place, living a free life in Hollands beautiful nature.
I keep my cars in the workshop i share with my good friend George.
The old Jeep comes in handy in summer because some berths are hard to reach without a 4x4.
Yes the Jeep has a hard life and shows it but hey, that is what Jeeps are for..
