Dimensions of TT Rear Axle Hyatt Roller Bearings and Sleeves?

Hello all, I have the rear wheels off of my 1912 Flanders to look at the rear axle bearings. They appear to be larger than Model T, I'm wondering if by some lucky coincidence TT parts will fit. Can anyone tell me the dimensions of TT Hyatt bearings and sleeves? Thanks!

One bearing slipped out easily, but the other is hung up on a ridge, which indicates that the sleeve is probably worn.

Never mind, I goofed - I did a side-by-side comparison this morning and the Flanders Hyatt bearings are standard Model T size. Woohoo!

Now if I can get the other side's bearing out past the ridge it's stuck on, anyone have some tips they can share? :)

Can you jiggle the axle shaft while pulling on the bearing with a hook? I use a piece of ³⁄₃₂" welding rod.

I've removed "stubborn" bearings by running the engine at low idle and a pair of small, thin flat blade screw drivers opposite each other and pried them out.

Been jiggling, rotating, pulling, etc., no luck so far. Looking at the other side (the side that slid out easily), the bearing sleeve doesn't have a hole for my sleeve puller to engage so that I can twist the sleeve out. I wonder if Flanders ever intended for the bearing sleeves to be serviced?

I'll keep working on it. If all else fails, I can clean and lube everything and just put it back together as-is. :)

similar to Steve, I use a bent wire hook and have someone turn the engine over to rotate the axle and the bearing will walk out pretty reliably

Without a hole for the usual puller it may be tough getting the sleeve out, but if it's ridged enough to hang up the bearing I'd sure want to replace it.

I got it out! Turns out it wasn't a ridge in the sleeve, the old grease was just so caked that the bearing was stuck in like glue. I bent a piece of 0.032 inch safety wire into a half loop, then bent hooks into each end to hook behind the bearing end plate.

Holding steady pulling pressure on the wire while rotating the axle shaft finally walked the bearing out. I had to pull it like that until it was sticking out about an inch before I could grab it and pull it out the rest of the way by hand.

Now it is soaking in the parts washer to loosen up the caked grease. I'm a happy camper, thanks everyone! :)
