Need the center to center dimension to bore my connecting rods.

Has anyone experienced an appreciable difference in the lengths of Model T connecting rods?

Many a time, it all depends on who has machined them. I recommend never mix them from suppliers. More than once I have found when fitting a Z head that it's not the casting at fault when a piston hits but the length of the rod. A local club member had built a cut away engine using a random of parts and ran slowly with an electric motor. pointing out to others, can you see what's going on here? and then pointing out to them that as much as an 1/16" in piston travel TDC difference.

I can appreciate differences in center to center machined distance or length .
I should have been clearer with my question..........
Has anyone noticed any appreciable differences in the un-babbitted rods?
(Center to center distance of rods without any babbitt in them)?

And again yes, if the parting line has been filed on the rod, not just the cap.

Looks like a "Check everything twice" situation.
