What would be the best location on the instrument panel to locate the dash light? It has the switch on the socket so requires constant juice. There is a battery location on the switch and a battery location on the ammeter. Which would be best? Jim Patrick

The battery location on the switch and the left side ammeter terminal are essentially the same thing. Pick the one that is less "crowded" by other wires, etc.

The "battery" terminal on the ammeter will work too. It's just that when you run the dash light, it will show a tiny discharge indication on the ammeter. Really, I think "battery" is the wrong name for the yellow wire, since it actually goes to the generator.

Thank you, Jerry. I used the battery connection on the switch. Jim Patrick
