This car is advertized as having an OD, looking at the dash, there is a switch showing "OD"
What am I looking at here? This is a first for me. It also talks about some kind of Power Steering and it looks like a PS pump IS installed. PS on a speedster, I'm impressed, but why?

Looks like a laycock

I rebuilt a rear end for a guy that is using a Volvo Laycock over drive, that one looks different. Looks like a stock motor with "maybe" high compression head. All those bends and twist in the tie rod and drag link, looks wonky. I don't see any Model A parts in the steering, for sure not an A steering box. Really someone need that power robbing power steering on a Model T speedster! The mounts for the front springs, look to just be welded to the side of the frame. If that list of things used is real (? that), whoever did this car for someone, was maybe reaching deep in the customer's pocket and that person was sold a bill of goods because they did not come here and ask question or get a bit of education first, in my opinion.

Probably a Laycock overdrive, most likely done by Mickey and Rich in Bakersfield. Best ever for these cars. In combination with a Ruckstell a perfect combination for touring.

I have one of the Mickey and Rich set ups with a Ruckstell and I love it. Excellent for touring hills and vales!!

Very little there that interests me, but believe that you could not replicate the car for the asking price (not that I would ever want to).

The flat foam pad seat looks like the builder was running out of money toward the end...too bad as the car's looks and likely comfort, would have been massively enhanced by a proper seating arrangement.

The hot water foam insulation going around the cockpit is comical and badly detracts from the car. Perhaps it is there to protect against damage from prospective buyers, but for pete's sake, what on earth were they thinking to photograph the thing that way??

Looks like about 60% done. Power steering is absurd. Windshield probably not legal. Is it metal? A canoe? J.C. Whitney headlights... Harley Davidson footboards ... fun car, if it runs and handles well.
