				Model T Fun and Comics

I am going to attempt to every now and then post a little Model T fun I have found, or made. I hope it works, and feel free to add on anything Model T Fun related that you find! I hand draw a lot, and have a terrible computer camera, so it won't be the best quality.

You need a scanner. Your copies will be properly lit and in sharp focus. This is the best I could do with the camera shot.

Here is a retake of yesterday's, in better light. I am sorry, but I do not have access to a scanner at this time, so they will not be the greatest quality.

Reminds me of the two kids at a car show years ago.
"Did they really drive these back in the old days?"
"Yep, back then that's all they could afford."

I cannot take complete credit for this one, I found a similar picture in the Model T Ford Service essentials.
I have the list of what the skeleton is made of, but not on me.

I will do the best I can to remember the parts
Head is headlight
neck is two exhaust pack nuts
spine is a camshaft
ribs are magneto magnets
shoulders are fan belt arms
arms are connecting rods
fingers are bolts
hips are a TT rear end gear
Legs are more connecting rods and fan belt arms
toes are horn housings
I hope you all like it!

I was 16 and had owned my Model A for a whole year when we started the local car club. I became the official cartoonist for the club newsletter.
It was the old mimeograph, with the purple ink that had a distinct and pungent scent?
And I'm still at it.

Ah yes, that smell. Young folk have no idea. I think it was meths based? quite the 'heady' vapour to be around for too long......
Maybe you might seek professional help if you are still at it...

So that's what's wrong with me. It all changed around the time we used that purple ink.

We always knew when a "pop test" was coming by the mimeograph smell. Teachers would design their own tests and run off copies as needed. Thank God, there were no "experts" around ... and in spite of that, we could tell boys from girls.

Did you know that the Ford Model T had the very first heated seats? They weren't hot in the winter but they were in the summer! It's the only factory accessory that the open cars had, and closed cars lacked!
