Source of TT parts

Need to find a source of parts particular to TT trucks. Such as auxiliary brakes, wheel pullers for the rear wheels, etc. A friend is trying to get a 24 running, which has been parked for about 40 years. To get to his home you have to climb a steep hill for about 3 miles. The town is actually pretty flat but to get there he has to go up the grade. He wants it running at least well enough to display it in local parades.

I would start with Chaffins, but I expect you will need to find a lot of parts used. If you have the 8-5-28 parts book sold by all the dealers, see pages 51-55 for a list of all the TT parts made by Ford.

Norm, I notice you're in Alpine California. I'm not too far away in Visalia, (compared to being several states away). I have a LOT of TT parts. Give me a call and we can discuss details about your specific needs. The prices will be very reasonable!! With Kind Regards, Bill Bennett five five nine 967- zero one one two: I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you. I have told him about the club and I think he will come to our meeting of the local club next week. I know that he has oil all over the rear wheel brakes and is looking for a wheel puller. He says it is larger than the one for the T cars. Also he wants to install the Aux brakes. I hope he will also look on this forum himself so he can link up with TT owners. I wanted to bring another local member who has a TT when I met him yesterday, however unfortunately our local member was ill. We do have some others in the area, but the man I was going to introduce only lives about 8 miles from him. I was, however able to help him with the wiring diagram because he is trying to get the engine running first. If we can get it running, then we will find out whether the magneto works. That will determine whether to use 6 volt battery or 12 to run the coils. or rebuild the mag. etc.

Thats great to hear, nothing like a TT
Yes, the hub puller is much larger and heavier than a car one. I bought mine from Macs I think, it is a new one.
Cheers
