Iowa Connections?

Delete if not allowed. I'm not yet an official member of the MTFCA and perhaps I should sign up before asking such a thing. Is there anyone one in Iowa that could come to my house and drive my T to see if it's ok? I don't want to cause it damage by continuing to drive it. Everything might be just fine? Maybe not? I live in Pella.

A lot of these folks list their towns. Maybe one of them is near Pella. Just type Iowa in Location and click Search.

I want to applaud and congratulate you on having an extraordinary bit of common sense. There are any number of folks who have only driven THEIR car and assume that ALL Model T's run as theirs does. As such, far too many settle for a popping, snorting and otherwise ill-performing vehicle and think they're experiencing what Grandpap experienced "back in the day".

Hopefully during this exercise, you'll learn what's right and what's not-so-right about your car and maybe just as important, hopefully get to drive someone else's car to experience the sometimes subtle and sometimes not-so-subtle differences. If you can pull this off, I think you're going to be light years ahead of 1/2 of all model T owners these days.

Thanks! I have contacted the Birdhaven guy (Bill). I sent him an email. He comes in our store & buys the copper line and brass fittings to make the by-pass lines.
