Carb question

The carb shown below looks to me like a Holley NH but it has an interesting nameplate on it where it is identified as a Ford Model F. Can you tell me anything about it?

That Ford F is an HN Holley design, that Ford made under license from Holley, during the twenties for a time Holley could not keep up production, so Ford made these. Same parts as the NH.

Here is a tidbit, note the comments that Ford is using the New Holley NH on all production, and that Holley was building them fast as they could, guess not fast enough, so Ford got involved and made some too!

Uncommon, but not super rare. Made by Ford under license when Holley could not keep up with production. I'd think it would command a little premium to folks who just like odd-ball or unusual things.

Scott, I assume the Ford F would accept your "full flow valve" should my friend decide to go that way?

Yes, it sure will
It is identical to the NH and all parts interchange
