I am gathering parts to bring to Luray. My first time attending and my first time selling T parts at a meet.

I have seen these but do not know what it is. It appears to be in very good condition. I am trying to price it for Luray. Thank you in advance!

Thank you Pat and Dom. I might sell it or polish it up and attach it to the wood bed of the buckboard I am building.

I'd carefully shine it up. I doubt if our Dear Leaders would allow you to obtain any carbon tet. I don't know of any substitute other than water, which might cause corrosion and certainly would freeze.

Even if you could find carbon tetrachloride today I would not recommend filling the extinguisher with it.
Carbon tet vapor is hazardous, and if you squirt it on a fire you will have lots of vapors and fumes.

Here is one I have, it still has a decent bit of carbon tet in it.

Those have been illegal to use since 1973, but you can still polish and display one.

Unfortunately, Carbon tet when sprayed on a fire converts to Phosgene gas and gaseous hydrochloric acid. Phosgene was one of the poison gases used in the trenches of WWI. Needless to say, you wouldn't want to breathe in either one of those gases.

I found one of those in the trash when I was a kid. It was full. I emptied it in a spot on the lawn. Grass didn't grow there for 2+ years. Mom was ticked!
