A friend has a DR's coupe. The doors sag Quite a bit, wood in the body seems to be good, will replacing the wood in the doors solve the issue? Or is it a re-wood the hole body thing?
Thanks. Craig.

Ouch!
It could still be the wood in the body proper framework. It could even be a sagging chassis frame!
Something is off, weak, or sagging. Before anything else? You or your friend will need to sort it out. Measure and check everything surrounding or supporting the body and doors to find what is off and and then figure out why. What isn't square or lining up the way it is supposed to? It could be the doors themselves? Or almost anything else around them.
Often, minor shimming (common flat washers) between the body and the frame in just the right amount and places can solve it (at least temporarily?).

Some pictures would really help showing the issue. Otherwise, any advice is a guess.

What year Coupe? The earlier Coupe doors before 24-25 were hinged in the center of the car unlike the 24-25 which hinged in the front. Might be a difference in the way to keep the doors from sagging.

"22 Coupe doors have many wood joints that can separate and loosen over time. Check and repair if needed. The skin is just nailed over top and if it's not tight it will not support the door weight. Three hinges hold the door and hinge pins can wear out too. If your frame is square and not sagging and the door still is binding some guys will put a screen door type brace inside the door and tighten the turn buckle to correct the sag. I'm not stating that this should be done but it is an old-time repair trick.

A screen door brace can be used on sagging T open car doors also. Without taking everything apart and if the wood is good in a door that would be the thing to do I think. Hope that’s what the sagging issue is instead of the body pillars or sills wood.
