roof kit

Post by benfry » Thu May 26, 2022 7:50 am

I have just purchased a 1926 Model T pickup. It is in need of a new roof. Does anyone have a resource for a wood kit for this vehicle?

Thanks,

You should start with the usual vendors, Langs Old Car Parts is a good one. If you are new to model T's get a Ford Service Manual, and find a local Model T club. Post a pictue of your car, it is not unusual to have the year and body misidentified, and that will result in the wrong parts being acquired.

From your description, do you have a closed body installed on your T? Did you post photos of it on one of the Model T Facebook pages?
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Do you have a picture of the Model T you bought? T pickups had a fold down top with top bows and a canvas type material for the top. The forum can identify what you have with a picture.

I've had good experiences with Classic Wood Products and Snyders Antique Auto for wood kits.
