I've seen a few setups to use a T for powering other machinery, but this is the first I've seen to use the crank ratchet. Would be handier for cars with a self-starter, though.

I think the crank would have to be removed and a shaft, equipped with a reverse ratchet inserted into the crank hole. Jim Patrick

Someday, if I live long enough, I'll make one of those belt drives that sets under the back wheels. :)

Oh yes ! Most certainly. The ad mentions a governor. I wonder what that entailed ?
