Recommend Lucas tire. I have bought tires from them before and I order them and they are here next day! I needed a new inner tube and ordered it Friday. It was delivered Saturday, the next day. It was 18 dollars and the shipping was 19 dollars! However it would taken me half a day and more than 19 dollars of gas to drive up there to pick it up! So it was a bargain.

I bought a set of tires from them last year and am pleased. They arrived very quickly. One had a slight cosmetic blemish and they replaced it. Then at my inquiry they sold me the blemished one at a good discount (and now I have a new spare.)

Too bad Stan isn't doing business with Firestone now. I'm not a fan of the tubes they are selling either. I believe they are called Custom Classic? They claim they fit three different sizes. I don't like that.

I believe their clinchers are no worse than other non-Blockley clinchers. But I am steering clear of their Custom Classic tubes. Being a slow learner, I patched one of those several times before I realized it was repeatedly splitting. Allegedly fitting three sizes of tires is small potatoes in the face of that.

Well, we'll see! I bought 4 of their Montgomery Ward Riverside tires about 8 years ago. I saved one of the tires which was on the car for a spare. Last month I was checking the pressure on the tires prior to taking the car out. The spare tube stem was like a balloon. It still held air, but I didn't want to drive on it that way. I haven't needed the spare since I bought the 4 from Lucas. The tube I just bought is for the spare.
