We saw this T in Jackson Hole, Wy Monday

Post by Rich Eagle » Wed Jun 29, 2022 6:41 pm

We saw this Model T pickup when we were leaving the Tetons last Monday. Since we didn't track him down I was wondering if anyone recognized it. It had a Texas plate on it. How much fun he must have been having.

We also stopped at Menor's Ferry in the Grand Teton National park and found this photo of a YPC bus crossing the Snake River. It is about the same years and could actually be mine but I can't see the bus number.

While looking for more info we found this modified bus photo.

The Teton area is so wonderful and the weather was great but driving one of the old cars wasn't practicle this trip.
Next time for sure.

I like the roll up rear curtain on the one man top! :)

Look carefully at the top. That is a two man top. I have one like that on my 26 Roadster. I think the top was made for a 25 because the rear bow where it mounts to the body is not curved like a 26 top. I also have the roll up window. I like it. See picture attached.

Looks curved to me Norm & they call those a "one man" top because you can sit in the middle of the front seat and fold it back by yourself.

Maybe that works with one man, but have tried it and dropped one side and scratched the paint, so I prefer to use two people.

"David driving Periwinkle" Thanks Jeff. I believe I remember you there many years ago. I should stop and visit David and Clare sometime.
