Wonderful Wisconsin Tour Pictures

Post by KeithG » Thu Jun 30, 2022 1:55 pm

Our Wonderful Wisconsin Tour is now history, but many pictures have been taken.
Given here are links to over 1400 pictures:

Here is the link and also a tiny url. Both will work.

1-https://photos.app.goo.gl/DctrEaWhqEHh4x2U7

2-tinyurl.com/2beh2ftf

On the top right corner of the Photo Album page are options. You can order prints for 18 cents and picked up at store of your choice. You can download photos or share the album with others. On the three dots you can play a slideshow.

This was a cope and paste so I hope it works.
Cheers,
Keith

Wow! Took awhile, but I looked at them all!
Thank you to all that took and posted photos for those of us unable to go. Also thank you to all that made this tour possible for those that could go! Without the dedicated and wonderful model T people involved, these things could not happen.
Thank you.

Thanks to all the photographers for these wonderful photos. I was so excited to look carefully at the cars where same-year side-by-side shots showed the differences in restorations. In many shots, it looks like a 1920's car dealership show. Magnificent! I only wish I could have been there to soak up all the T flavors.

Back to the top. There's a lot of pictures, but if you've never been on as National T Tour, this will give you a good idea what it's all about.

Keith,
I’ve not been on a national tour. About how many miles are averaged a day, and what are common mph averages?
Thank you for posting,
Rob

Hi Rob, The daily mileages vary but usually average about 100 miles. 150 for one day is a lot since when you consider time for lunch and maybe a mid morning break plus time to visit an attraction, that can add up to a very long day.

Tours vary a lot depending on the attractions visited. We had at least two interesting places to visit every day and one day we had 4 places to visit. Never a dull moment! For this tour the daily mileage ranged from 50 up to 99 miles.

Typical MPH are about 30 to 35. Sometimes you get stuck behind a slow moving car, but you can usually pass them. Any good running T will not have a problem with speed. We had several trailers with winches to either help with breakdowns or haul them back as needed.

Next year the MTFCA National tour will be in Manhatten, KS, and the MTFCI Tour will be in the Baraboo, WI area.

These tours are fun! Once you've been on one, you'll see how much fun they are and why so many of us go on them every year. The tours and their costs vary of course. Some tours provide dinners, lunches, costs for admission to the venues, plus hospitality room and lots of misc. expenses. Other tours have almost everything paid for by the participants as they go resulting in a lower tour cost up front. It varies a lot.

Hope this helps.

So can I, but it might take me longer to get there. :)
