Cowl Lacing attachment 1922 Touring

What is the correct fastener to attach the Cowl Lacing to wood firewall on a1922 Touring.

I don't know what year this is but suspect they are all the same.

I measure the nail at .192 Ø for the head, .074 Ø shank and .731 long. It is steel. These also hold the metal strip to the wood.
Do you need the location measurements?

P.S. they mention "3/4 inch #15 cement coated wire nails from 1919 to 1923" in this forum thread. That must be what these were.

I used 3/4" stainless brads/wire nails worked fine.

I went to Ace hardware and bought some tacks that closely resembled the few that were still in the remains of the firewall I had on my 21 Touring.
